Azara's night monkey - also known as the Southern owl monkey - is a small, nocturnal primate native to the forests of South America, particularly in Paraguay, Bolivia, and parts of Brazil and Argentina. Unlike most monkeys, it is active at night and has large eyes adapted for seeing in low light. Azara's night monkeys are arboreal, spending most of their lives in the trees, and primarily eat fruits, leaves, and insects.
