
Real Longhorn Skull - Preferred Quality
The longhorn is one of nearly a hundred breeds of living domestic cattle. Modern domestic cattle evolved from a single ancestor, the Aurochs. Remains of domesticated cattle dating to 6,500 B.C. have been found in Turkey and other sites in the Near East. Their skulls serve many purposes whether displayed as an educational tool in the classroom or vet office, or as a contemporary home decor piece.
These skulls are compatible with the Bull Bracket
Specifications:
- Each of these skulls is unique and will vary in size, shape, color, etc. Please see photos for examples of each quality.
- The horns of some of these skulls are removable while others are not. Please let us know if you have a preference and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
- Our preferred longhorn skulls are excellent specimens that exhibit little to no imperfections, but they are still on the small-to-medium side as longhorns go.
- May be missing teeth and/or some nasal turbinates
